The Tahoe Via is Great For:

Corporate Adventures: If your group is looking for a unique team-building activity or simply a fun escape during a conference, the Tahoe Via is a great way to step out of the boardroom!

Wedding Parties & Bachelor/ette Parties: If your wedding guests are coming to Tahoe for your special event, an epic mountain adventure is sure to make an impression

School Groups & Birthday Parties: Kids have a blast scrambling up the routes! The via is best suited for children who are 88lbs, 10-years-old, and 3’11”, but we can often make exceptions to the size limits within private groups.

Family Outings: Even if everyone doesn’t want to climb, there’s an option to ride the Aerial Tram and try to spot the climbers on Tram Face below!

Build your custom climbing tour

Depending on how much time and energy your group has, we have a range of tour lengths from 2.5-hours to 4-hours.

Some groups choose to keep it simple and reserve a few private climbs for their program while others upgrade to a fully customized option. Consider a full-service buy-out of the Tahoe Via, where 100% of our staff and guide team is dedicated to making your adventure as smooth as possible.

To build out your group climb into a full-day adventure, consider adding on activities like lunch in The Village at Squaw, hiking in Shirley Canyon, rock climbing at Donner Summit or Aerial Tram Rides at Squaw Valley. We’d love to help you set up these add-ons!

Worried that Tahoe Via isn’t right for everyone in your group?

Remember, your team members don’t need any special climbing experience to join you on the Tahoe Via. Chances are, if they can hike, they can climb the via! Everyone in your group should simply have basic physical fitness and be able to hike for an hour or more. The majority of our Tahoe Via climbers have never rock climbed before and they still successfully make it up to the top of the route.
